Job Description:
Summit Handling Systems is the region’s fastest-growing material

Bobcat, we are hiring an experienced diesel mechanic to work in
Poughkeepsie, New York. This position requires 5 years of diesel
mechanic experience working on heavy or compact equipment. The
ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently,
diagnosing issues, and performing repairs with minimal supervision.
Salary Range: $32 - $40 per hour. General Duties and
Responsibilities: Perform daily equipment inspections and
preventative maintenance. Diagnose and repair hydraulic,
hydro-static, electrical, and engine systems. Conduct system
rebuilds and overhauls as needed. Accurately complete work orders
and maintain service records. Work collaboratively with the Parts,
Service, Sales, and Rental departments to ensure timely repairs and
support. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean,
organized workspace. Qualifications: 5 years of diesel mechanic
experience working on heavy or compact equipment. Proficiency in
diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, hydro-static, electrical, and
engine systems. Ability to work independently with minimal
supervision. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. Basic computer skills
for diagnostics and reporting. Must be able to lift or move up to
