Job Description Job Description Part-Time Transport Driver (CDL) The Part-Time Transport Driver (CDL) is responsible for safely transporting vehicles, parts, or equipment between locations, customers, or dealerships. This role requires a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), safe driving practices, and adherence to company and regulatory policies. Key Responsibilities Operate company vehicles to transport vehicles, parts, or equipment as assigned Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Secure loads safely and ensure items are delivered without damage Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and receiving locations Assist with vehicle or equipment loading/unloading as required Report any incidents, delays, or vehicle issues promptly Qualifications Valid CDL license with clean driving record Experience operating commercial vehicles preferred Ability to lift and secure cargo safely Strong communication and time management skills Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated Familiarity with dealership operations or logistics (preferred) Skills & Competencies Safe driving and defensive driving skills Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures Strong organizational and documentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Customer service orientation Work Environment Work is performed in dealerships, warehouse, and on the road Exposure to noise, weather, and moving vehicles Reasonable accommodation may be made for essential functions Physical & Work Requirements Ability to sit, drive, lift, and load/unload vehicles or equipment Work in varying weather conditions Occasional long hours or early/late shifts as needed Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience Opportunity to gain experience in dealership operations $15.00-$18.00 based on experience Equal Employment Opportunity Statement We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
