About the Role:
We are seeking a Principal Solution Architect who will be
responsible for the solution architecture across Wiley enterprise
applications. This includes SAP with Wiley ecosystem, CRM
Salesforce, eCommerce and other partner products with focus on SaaS
platforms. This role requires solving complex process, data and
technical design complexities, and providing guidance and oversight
to implementation projects across the enterprise. The focus of this
role is solutioning key enterprise processes end to end including
Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Logistics Execution, CPQ. This role
will also be responsible for the strategy, tactics and successful
modernization journey of Wiley legacy enterprise applications and
Business process integration of Wiley acquired Businesses. The
Principal Solutions architect will also ensure the Enterprise
Applications development is aligned to leading industry best
practices across SAP, non-SAP & other Cloud/SaaS applications such
as Concur, Ariba, Stibo, OneSource, Paymetric, SnapPay, Celonis
How you will make an impact:
Leading the development of the solution architecture for strategic
projects, partnering with Application Development teams to deliver
a cohesive, forward-thinking, and adaptable architecture.
Partnering with Finance, Customer Service, PTP, Distribution and
other Digital fulfillment systems as well user community to ensure
successful and timely capturing of business requirements.
Defining system and service architecture design criteria and lead
modeling sessions with diverse groups of subject matter
experts.
Defining platform architecture for all major software platforms
across Wiley enterprise application portfolio and ensure solution
alignment to platform strategy of all major software solutions
across Wiley ERP landscape.
Manage prototyping, blueprinting functional design, cross module
integration, guide the business in utilizing the platform
functionality to the best extent possible, including the review of
business processes and system integration challenges.
Identifying capabilities, tools, standards, best practices
necessary to meet functional area objectives, emerging issues, and
future needs.
Working with the Application Architects and the business to
successfully perform gap analysis for complex projects and to
translate the business requirements and business processes into
functional design specifications.
Utilizing industry best practices to analyze, plan, design,
develop, integrate, implement, manage enterprise architecture, its
associated contents, and data in support of ERP migration across
multi-functional domain areas.
Providing expert technical and analytical advice relating to
information management issues, information technology arc
What we look for (Required):
10+ years of progressive experience in SAP implementations as a
configuration/ technical solution analyst.
Proffered experience with one or two S4 HANA implementations.
Expert level SAP OTC configuration skills in product master data
setup, pricing, Order Management, Contract Management,
Billing.
Expertise in integrating SAP with non-SAP applications and execute
landscape transformation.
Expert level knowledge in integration of SAP Order to Cash with
Finance (GL/RAR), PTP, and Logistics Execution with respect to
publishing industry.
Fully understand integration with other SAP Modules like FICO, MM,
WM and Add On modules like Vistex, One Source.
Strong knowledge of Revenue Recognition (SAP RAR) and Inter-company
processes
Fully understand end-to-end, cross-functional, and integrated
business processes related to the SAP SD module, including
integrations with extended business systems.
Good knowledge of Inventory management, Warehouse Management and
Accounting integration to OTC processes.

estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting. It
is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the
range, however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be
higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of
