Job Description:
Technology Solutions Advisor, Technology Consulting, (Risk
Management - Testing, Requirements, & Control) - Financial Services
Office (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (709622), Ernst & Young U.S.
LLP, Hoboken, NJ.
Lead the development of cutting edge disruptive technologies and
assist with building and implementing new technology solutions and
products to address challenges faced by the banking industry. Help
clients with executing controls related assessments across multiple
risk and regulatory domains throughout the technology architecture.
-Liaise with clients to respond to new risks and regulatory
developments with technology solutions. Provide full lifecycle
technology services to enable the implementation of best practice
risk management processes and systems. Demonstrate ability to
manage, supervise and build an effective team of technology
advisors through all phases of risk technology life cycle including
requirements definition, controls implementation, and testing.
Demonstrate ability to manage end-to-end testing of business
processes, technology, and data infrastructures. Innovate and adapt
to a rapidly changing technology landscape and develop/enhance EY
services to meet new client demands
Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and
backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by
monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities
and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships
and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 - 45 -hours per week,
8:30 am - 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Systems, Business, Finance, Economics or a related field and 5
years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience defining
business and technical requirements. Alternatively, will accept a
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Systems, Business, Finance, Economics or a related field and 4
years of work experience defining business and technical
requirements.
Must have 4 years of experience in using technology to solve
complex credit and market risk issues and regulatory mandates.
Must have 2 years of experience with any two of the following risk
categories:
- Credit origination and approval and rating systems
- Portfolio management
- Market risk management
- Capital and Stress Testing including CCAR and Basel
- FRTB
- IFRS 9/CECL
Must have 4 years of experience in financial risk management
Must have 4 years of experience with banking book and trading book
products
Must have 4 years of experience with at least 1 of the following:
vendor packages used in risk management including Blueprism, Pega,
WorkFusion, Oracle, Axiom, SAS, IBM/Algorithmics, Sungard, Moody's,
QRM, MarkIt, Bloomberg, or comparable vendor packages used in risk
management.
Must have 4 years of experience working through multiple phases of
the technology life cycle, like requirements definition, controls
implementation, and testing
Must have 4 years of hands-on experience in at least 2 of the
following areas:
- Reconciliation & operational controls assessment and design
- Risk data quality / governance
- Attestation framework design and implementation
- Current state assessments and future state roadmaps
- Business and functional architecture blueprint
- Knowledge across multiple regulatory reports
- Previous experience supporting 2nd line and 3rd line of defense
validation functions
- SQL/MSEXCEL/MSACCESS proficiency
- Big Data (HDFS)
Requires travel up to 80%, of which 20% may be international, to
serve client needs.
