The MMC Corporate Finance team provides FP&A support to corporate functions like Global Business Services (GBS), HR, Legal, Technology and Executive teams. As a Senior Financial Analyst in the Consolidations team, you'll deliver reporting, analysis and insights for $2bn worth of spend. You'll work with large data sets to identify trends, risks and opportunities. The first 100 days will focus on learning our organization, understanding the matrixed environment and building relationships with key stakeholders. As your knowledge increases, we'll look forward to expanding your scope to include developing and delivering dashboards to our executive leaders. This position is an excellent opportunity to gain detailed knowledge and insight into MMC.

    Review and analyze basic financial planning information and reports in order to make recommendations to management
    
    
  • 
    Support month-end close process by reviewing recurring/standard and ad hoc reports, develop understanding of our P&L structure and variances to budget and prior year
    
    
  • 
    Review data extracts from MMC's data warehouse to support key strategic initiatives
    
    
  • 
    Assist in the preparation of financial presentations using a variety of formats, displays, reproduction of charts, graphs, and econometric models
    
    
  • 
    Proactively suggest and implement changes to streamline processes and improve effectiveness of support that Finance provides
    
    
  • Research, identify, and explain expense and operational variances to highlight areas of risk and opportunities to improve
    
    What you need to have:
    
    • 
      
    • 
      Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
      
      
    • 
      2 -5 years in a financial analysis role or accounting role
      
      
    • 
      Exceptional skills in financial modeling to execute the forecast, financial planning and reporting processes
      
      
    • 
      Self-motivated with the ability to function independently in a fast pace environment
      
      
    • 
      Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
      
      
    • Dashboarding experience a plus
