Business Development Representative Description
Timberlane, Inc. is one of the most well-respected brands in the
exterior shutter industry. The company is now on an aggressive
growth trajectory due to recent business expansion into the larger
exterior home sector, following a strong 30-year history. Our brand
is built on great product and superior customer engagement, through
a personal, direct-to-trade model. As such, we are seeking the best
and the brightest to join our powerful Inside Sales Team as
Business Development Representatives.
As a Business Development Representative, 50% of your role will be
to contact, engage and qualify marketing-generated leads to create
a robust sales pipeline for our Account Executives. In addition,
you will spend 50% of your time generating new, qualified leads per
week through targeted prospecting and relationship-building
techniques. You'll also earn 'lead transfer' dollars on jobs won on
top of your salary.

Be a Timberlane brand steward and supporting our value
proposition
Embrace the established Timberlane CRM process and protocols for
new leads
Engage in a meaningful, brand-relevant way with prospects through a
high volume of outbound phone/email activity
Demonstrating a deep understanding of Timberlane's products and
awareness of customer needs
Marketing-generated leads from our current database, and achieving
time-sensitive KPIs
Aggressively researching new lead sources to build a powerful lead
generation stream
Be customer-centric and results-oriented, supporting Timberlane
brand equity and expansion
On-site daily position in Montgomeryville, PA
Good company culture and engagement
Our ideal candidate will have:
Comfortable with inside sales and/or phone sales, with 5-year
steady history of success.
Preferably experience with premium product (vs. service sales)
Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills / CRM experience, Salesforce
preferred.
Excellent communication skills and charismatic phone voice.
Fast learning and ability to connect with people
Ability to deliver technical information over the phone in an
easy-to-understand fashion
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
Timberlane Compensation and Benefits:
Base ($50k) + opportunity for small monthly 'lead transfer'
commissions
Opportunity for additional base increase with 3 day/month architect
lunch and learn presentations once trained
