Position Summary



The Corporate Communications Senior Specialist will support the Nestle Health Science (NHSc) U.S. business and play a key role in evolving and amplifying the NHSc U.S. story on key topics like business transformation, culture, and health science innovation.



This individual, reporting to the Manager of External Communications, will work directly with key internal and external stakeholders to lead the development and implementation of external communications strategies that advance our mission of empowering healthier lives for patients and consumers.



Responsibilities:




  • Support Communications leadership in the execution of a 360-degree external communications plan that drives NHSc U.S.'s business objectives and strengthens the company's reputation
  • Advance corporate priorities, activities, and messaging through strategic communications and public relations tactics including holistic external digital strategy, executive thought leadership, and media relations
  • Aid in the development of messaging and materials for a variety of external platforms including corporate social channels, company website and newsroom and press outreach
  • Help manage agency support in conjunction with Manager, External Communications
  • Assist with research to support the management and coordination of crisis response
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with partners in Global Communications, Marketing, Legal, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Consumer Engagement, etc. as needed
  • Track KPIs and report metrics within the larger Corporate Communications function
  • Establish and build a positive relationship with the media, and organizes programs and events that tell NHSc U.S. business story




    Requirements:




    • Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field
    • 4+ years' experience in Communications across in-house or agency teams
    • Understanding of emerging trends and technologies influencing earned and paid media
    • Agency work experience a plus as well as effectively partnering with PR agency as client to achieve sustainable high performance

      • Strong project and time management skills and the ability to manage multiple demanding initiatives concurrently, balance multiple priorities, work with minimal supervision, and meet deadlines

      • A high level of professional integrity and confidentiality including the ability to work effectively with all levels, including executive management
