opportunityThis is a key position that is responsible for
supporting the Global Assurance business objectives by developing
and delivering effective internal communications that align with
the Assurance and EY BMC plans to inspire our professionals and
support our purpose-led culture.This role will support the Global
Assurance Communications & Engagement Leader to coordinate and
deliver strategy and enablement communications and engagement
activity across Assurance (and its subservice lines and Areas).This
individual will develop and manage the implementation of integrated
plans which will request significant teaming with Assurance
stakeholders and colleagues working in Global and Area
Communications & Engagement, Global BMC, global service lines,
Global Markets and Global Delivery Services (GDS). The individual
is expected to create and leverage a range of communications media
to engage audiences, including print, video, digital channels,
intranet, webcasts, speeches and other supporting content and
materials.Success in this role will be demonstrated through
building trusted advisor relationships with Assurance and BMC
executives, contributing to and executing an annual communications
strategy for Global Assurance (integrated with the overall
Assurance BMC strategy), collaborating with BMC colleagues to
deliver effective communications support for Global Assurance
and/or cross-service line priorities, and helping to mentor and
develop CE team members, supporting a positive, teaming culture.
-Your key responsibilities -As the Assurance BMC CE Deputy Leader,
your key responsibilities include:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on BMC and Assurance issues,
trends and long-term implications for EY's brand strategy generally
and its CE approach in particular
- Develop strong 'trusted advisor' relationships with Global
Assurance senior leadership, as well as networks across Assurance,
other service lines and sectors, and the wider BMC team
globally
- Help support awareness of Global CE priorities and practices
within the Assurance CE team, facilitating aligned execution,
learning and efficiencies
- Develop and executive innovative and creative communication
approaches to key projects aligned to the Assurance global
strategic priorities
- Support the development and continuous improvement of the core
set of Assurance BMC communications strategies, enablement tools
and channels
- Work closely with BMC colleagues with CE portfolios,
Go-to-Market, and Brand and External Communications and help ensure
integrated activities across the business
- Leverage internal tracking tools, dashboards and Global
Delivery Services (GDS) to implement consistent engagement
measurement and reporting for regular evaluation of communication
strategies. -Skills and attributes for success -
- Must be able to collaborate with the CE Leader and BMC program
leads to prioritise and deliver on Assurance and BMC strategic
priorities, align CE initiatives with EY's performance agenda and
revenue goals, measure and achieve the desired results and
communicate the BMC value proposition
- Excellent written communications and networking experience and
skills in a wide range of situations and with people at all levels
within a large, complex organisation -
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge, skills and abilities
concerning global business fundamentals, business models, ethics,
competitive analysis and cross-cultural/geographical sensitivities

- Experience partnering with senior business stakeholders to
identify business communications and engagement needs, proactively
provide exceptional client service, advise stakeholders on
communications strategies, work collaboratively and effectively
with peer functions, and deliver on EY and BMC priorities
- Must be able to assert own ideas, gain support and commitment
from others, mobilize people and use creative approaches to execute
work that will help meet Global Assurance and BMC strategic goals
and engage with leaders to gain sponsorship for activities
- An experienced communications leader and storyteller, skilled
listener, project manager and disciplined with time management who
is comfortable being adaptable and proactive in addressing project
challenges or priority changes
- A proactive problem solver, coupled with accuracy and attention
to detail, excellent time management skills with the ability to
manage several projects concurrently, and an ability to manage
complexity and competing demands to manage and meet deadlines
- -Ability to leverage experience gained through a proven track
record of communications creativity and innovation, understanding
of how to engage target audience groups using a range of channels
to maximise impact, including social media, video and digital, and
how to define, measure and drive successful outcomes.To qualify for
the role you must have
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent area of study or experience);
professional or higher qualification in Communications, Corporate
Communications or Marketing Communications preferred
- Significant strategic internal communications experience with
proven track record in supporting executive teams in a
high-performing environment
- Experience in a cross-border role, managing complex global
programs
- Working knowledge of EY, the professional services sector, or
matrix organizations
- Ability to interact, influence and communicate effectively with
key stakeholders and peers
- Strong verbal and written English. -Ideally, you'll also -
- Show strong senior-level stakeholder management experience,
building relationships as a trusted advisor, keeping them informed
and driving for resolution of issues
- Show initiative, coupled with accuracy and attention to detail;
demonstrate reliability
- Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and to tight
deadlines
- Be comfortable balancing several projects concurrently, through
excellent time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and
collaboratively in a complex organization -
- Have experience of working across different cultures and
geographies
- Have the ability to look ahead and anticipate trends and issues
that will affect clients' messages and strategies
- Be prepared to travel to different locations as required.What
