CrockPot, Calphalon, and Rubbermaid, oh my! What do these great brands have in common? In addition to all being part of Newell Brands, the parent company of iconic brands like Sharpie, Coleman and Yankee Candle, they also just opened a state-of-the-art test kitchen in Hoboken, NJ, Newell Creative Kitchen.
We're after an incredibly organized person, responsible for the planning and management of Newell Creative Kitchen, ensuring the studio is set up to deliver all creative projects to a brilliant standard, on time and in budget. Working intimately with either in-house creatives or external agencies to ensure they are set up for a successful day in the Studio. The Newell Creative Kitchen Studio Coordinator will report to our Sr. Manager of the Ecomm Content Studio, in our eDesign group. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative support-related tasks and able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible, and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting team members in a fast-paced, distributed office environment.
What you'll be responsible for:

• 
  
• Managing the day to day running of the creative studio - the go-to person for all space utilization requests, vendor and IT support coordination.
  
• Planning workflow and resource, both short-term and long-term, highlighting any roadblocks and offering proactive solutions.
  
• Booking in and managing freelancers and agency support when required.
  
• Maximizing the studio's efficiency by continually evolving and developing processes.
  
• Collating, reviewing and sharing key studio stats every month, as a tool to reflect and improve efficiencies (and celebrate the wins!)
  
• Working closely with project managers to build creative timelines for key or larger projects, such as campaigns and innovation launches.
  
• Balancing the checkbook - managing to budgets, tracking and submitting expense reports.
  
• Championing collaboration - liaising with internal clients, agencies and the wider Brand and Comms teams to share best practices and make connections
  
• Customer & team event planning - showcasing our brands and breaking bread together builds strong partnerships.

    You'll have:

    • BA/ BS Degree in relevant field
      
    • 3-5 years prior experience in a similar role, either in-house or agency side
      
    • An understanding of creative processes and language
      
    • Proven project management skills
      
    • The ability and interest to be onsite in Hoboken, NJ five days a week
      
    • COVID-19 vaccination status

        The new space is located at 16 Hudson Place, Hoboken, and is newly renovated after having been in the works for over a year. As part of the 19th-century building, Newell takes up 5,000 square feet and can host up to 40 people. It is equipped with a "pristine pantry" that's organized and stocked with the latest innovative products from Newell Brands. There's also a meeting area and an outdoor patio. Newell Brands' e-commerce division and content studio is located just up the street in Hoboken, so it only made sense to open the space in the same town.
