* 9-12 years; experience on IT support in a Global Financial environments

* 5-6 of Fidessa Support experience

* FIX Protocol: Good working knowledge of Tags and Message-types.

* Testing: Must be able to manage change tasks largely independently with minimal direction from Fidessa Support, Fidessa Development or Santander IT, including diagnosis, specification review, testing and updating documentation.

* Incident Management: Must be able to work with Fidessa and IT Technical teams to resolve any production related incidents.

* Meeting Participation: Must be able to speak clearly, precisely and comprehensively in meetings with Front-Office, Compliance, Risk or Operations Teams.

* Must have strong understanding of front to back trading life cycles.

* Ability to quickly ascertain technical status of issues raised using limited information and formulating the best possible issue-resolution plan

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

* Leadership skills to drive evolution and change

* Understanding of software performance tools, metrics and benchmarks

* Well-versed with a wide range of technologies across web, database, integrations, interfaces, services and server side

* Excel: VBA & Pivot tables.
