The Director, Network and Communications Services leads the
Network, Telecom and Messaging teams at Wiley. This position
collaborates closely with IT leaders, business leads, architects,
and engineers by sharing information, actively participating in
problem solving, and aligning Network, Telecom and Messaging
strategy with the overall corporate IT strategy. He/she will also
provide technical direction to other senior engineers and

of all LAN, WAN, wireless LAN, security (firewalls, CDN and web
filtering), VPN, telephony infrastructure (PBX, VOIP, soft phones,

etc) across the enterprise.
Evaluate and assess next gen solutions to facilitate transition
to the cloud and eliminate dependency on data centers.
Assess current network, telephony and messaging infrastructure
and provide recommendations on potential improvements in

BS degree or higher.
10+ years of IT experience in managing or providing technology
strategies and support in large, complex environments.
Well-grounded in technology with expert knowledge of LAN, WAN,
WLAN, telephony infrastructure, messaging and network security best
Exhibiting strong technical knowledge in routing and switching
protocols including TCP/IP, STP, EIGRP, BGP, IPSec, MPLS, SD-WAN,
QoS, and complex routing protocol setup.
Experience managing Avaya or Cisco telephony, including the SIP
protocol, SIP trunks, and overall telecommunications
Implementing cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), especially
regarding network connectivity and security.
Experience with O365, messaging, GSuite and associated
Self starter and excellent time management skills.
Experience managing a global team of engineering
