Job Description Job Description Production Manager Production Manager Position Overview The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the production processes within the manufacturing plant. This role ensures efficient production operations, maintains quality standards, and manages resources effectively to meet production goals. Key Responsibilities Oversee the entire production process, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met. Manage and coordinate production schedules, allocating resources as needed to meet deadlines. Implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Lead a team of production staff, providing training and support to enhance performance. Optimize production processes through continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles. Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues. Manage inventory of raw materials and finished products to ensure optimal stock levels. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, particularly in packaging, poly, and extrusion. Experience with operating and managing extruders and converting processes. Exceptional leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
