Software Sales Representative - Visual Planning SoftwareCompany:We are looking for a high-energy, driven Professional with sound business insight and natural sales instincts to join, and help build, the Visual Planning Sales Team.This "Business-to-Business" Sales Professional should be able to prospect target accounts for new business development. The Software Sales Rep must be comfortable selling Resource Management and Scheduling Software solutions to all levels of any organization's operations. As the first line of contact, you can understand the diverse business needs of prospects in a variety of industries. You are quick on your feet, tenacious, and possess grit to overcome objections. You will use your convincing personality and passion for winning to raise the bar of success.Since most of the role requires selling over phone and email, candidates should have at least 6 months of inside sales experience, preferably including some structured writing via email and experience performing online demonstrations and/or presentations. This is considered to be a "solutions-oriented" position that uses consultative sales techniques, training, and tools to provide the Software Sales Rep with every opportunity for success.-This position reports to the Chief Revenue Officer.Job Type: Full-timeEssential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sell all ranges of Visual Planning Software products, and associated services
  • Manage and qualify inbound leads (80%) and cold calls (20%), and other communications to ensure fast response rates to potential Clients
  • Build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Proactively maintain pipeline using our CRM
  • Manage Client relationships through all phases of the sales cycle
  • Provide a consultative solutions sales process to prospects
  • Conduct one-on-one and group sales demonstrations, both online and face-to-face
  • Provide account management to an existing customer base
  • Responsible for tracking customer information, forecasts, and reports
  • Collect feedback from customers and prospects to be transmitted to the product and marketing teams
  • Coordinate with the Consulting Team and the Customer Support Team to ensure an efficient transmission of information regarding customer's needs and requirements before and after the sale takes place
  • Develop and execute on call and email campaign strategiesDesired Skills & Qualifications
    • Self-starter with a competitive nature and desire to grow a career in sales
    • A commanding phone presence and professional demeanor
    • Track record of hitting and exceeding quota
    • Detail-oriented, proactive and an effective problem-solver
    • Team player with the highest level of integrity
    • Solutions-selling experience in software, or other technical product
    • Bachelor + 2 years of experience or Master's degree + 1 year of experience
    • Analytical skill set, strong presentation skills, ability to interact with any level within an organization
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
    • Passion for technologyTravel
      • Some travel will be required for face-to-face meetings with customers and industry and partner events.
      • COVID-19 Considerations: The team is working primarily remotely and going into the office 2 days every weeks.Additional Commission on top of competitive base salary!
