The opportunity
Within SCS, Supplier Ecosystem Services (SES) delivers contract,
performance, commercial and relationship governance services for
the EY Technology (EYT) and Talent category to drive qualitative
value and brand value for EY. This role specifically serves EYT who
creates, manages, and operates all the technology used by EY
covering the entire process life cycle, from understanding the
needs of the organization's different Areas and service lines,
through defining appropriate strategy and architecture, to the
delivery of solutions and managed operational services.

SES Supplier Management for SAP and ServiceNow is a critical role
for EY Technology to ensure that the supplier contractual framework
has the appropriate controls and processes in place to reduce risk,
optimize vendor performance, and maximize contract value and
cultivate the strategic partnership enabling EY to differentiate
the market place, drive digital transformation at EY, increase
collaboration and productivity, and showcase supplier technologies.
Additionally, SAP and ServiceNow are key EY alliances. In this role
the successful candidate will support the 360 relationships
representing the buy from relationship perspective.
Supplier Ecosystem Services is an integral function of Supply Chain
Services focusing on the requirements from the Technology team and
managing circa $2B of spend annually.
Position Description
In line with EY's Next Wave strategy, EY manages key technology
supplier services within the Supplier Ecosystem Services (SES). SES
scope includes vendor governance, contract, performance and
relationship management for high value technology and managed
services supplier contracts.
Working independently within an established framework, under
minimal guidance, the successful candidate will be accountable for
assigned technology strategic supplier (SAP and/or ServiceNow)
across all EYT business units to provide transparency across the
enterprise on vendor performance and contract compliance by
ensuring the appropriate controls and processes are in place to
reduce risk, improve vendor performance, optimize contract value,
and ensure partnership efficiency along with contributing in
building out the SES function within EYT.
The SES Supplier Management Lead will work across SES, EYT, and
assigned vendor to standardize key success metrics,
coordinate/facilitate executive vendor business review and service
review meetings, establish governance processes, manage disputes,
coordinate vendor engineering sessions, provide contract
understanding and guidance, track compliance of key deliverables,
manage the relationship, and other vendor management
activities.
The successful candidate will act as a vendor governance, contract,
performance and commercial management leader and interface with
executive, senior business and key technical stakeholders for the
delivery of third-party technology and managed services.
The candidate may lead a small team of Supplier Managers and
promote and contribute to the SES function through effective
relationship building, both with key internal clients in the wider
organization and external clients where required. The Supplier
Management Lead will collaborate with other SESI leads across its
domains; Professional Services, Managed Services and Software Asset
Management to establish consistent SES Supplier Management
practices across EYT.
The Supplier Management lead will report directly to the Strategic
Supplier Leader in SES.
Your key responsibilities
This position has global scope and manages multi-service supplier
engagements.
* Initial assigned vendor(s) shall be SAP and/or ServiceNow and is
subject to change in accordance with EYT's supplier strategy
* Lead, track and report the contract, performance and commercial
management and governance across the supplier engagements and
validates that the provided services are meeting enterprise needs.
Sets strategic direction for continuous improvement initiatives and
supplier relationship management planning to maximize value and
prevent value leakage.
* Identify and facilitates all vendor governance risk in accordance
with the contractual agreements and SLAs, through the EY process,
and escalates as necessary in close collaboration with key internal
SES partners.
* Drive vendor services integration to support alignment with and
between other organizations/vendors.
* Conduct executive vendor business reviews and provides
transparency on customer satisfaction, vendor performance,
financial management, and contract compliance.
* Lead escalations and facilitates corrective action plans/service
improvement plans for performance, governance, or contractual
non-compliance issues.
* Lead alignment and collaboration with key SES partner including
but not limited to Procurement Services, Legal, Software Asset
Management, Risk Management and Finance.
* Support and aligns with EY client and alliance relationship
owners to drive 360 relationship strategy and creates with vendor a
mutual agreed Annual Supplier Relationship Plan reflecting long and
short-term objectives, governance structure, investments and other
relevant vendor relationship aspects.
* Integrate into all overall sourcing and contract discussions,
including facilitating processes for new contract review, issue
review and chargeback. Defining underpinning contract service
requirements and service performance criteria.

solutions and risks into opportunities.
To qualify for the role you must have
* Extensive relevant experience
* Strong relationship skills
* Excellent skills in managing vendor performance and service
levels
* Strong methodical, detailed, and quality approach
Ideally, you'll also be
Degree educated with:
* Minimum of 7 years' experience in a supplier / relationship
leadership role
* Expert proficiency in English (written and verbal)
* Experience working and managing in a global virtual team
construct
* Experience working within a partnership and/or a global service
delivery organization
* Alternatively, technology or business operations experience may
be considered in lieu of some, or potentially all, of the sourcing
experience for the right candidate.
* In depth experience negotiating for multiple Service delivery
models (Platform as a Service, Software as a Service,
Infrastructure as a Service, etc)
* Experience of stakeholder management at CTO or CIO level in their
current or previous role
