Operations Administrator is an experienced payroll professional
with payroll knowledge to produce accurate paychecks with
comprehensive payroll principals and concepts. -This role supports
compliance of execution and completion of streamline internal and
cross-functional team processes. -The opportunityThis opportunity
aligns with payroll model that supports expected client service
deliverables. -Your key responsibilitiesPayroll Operations
Administrator key responsibilities are:
- Review and process Payroll transactions in accordance with the
established department guideline -
- Determine and set-up employee's tax obligations dependent on
work and home locations -
- Analyze, calculate and determine appropriate approach for
off-cycle transactions, overpayments, disability adjustments, retro
payment adjustments and final payouts in accordance with federal
and state regulatory guidelines -
- Prepares, analyze and contributes to reports as directed -
- Performs duties and responsibilities in accordance with
established policies and procedures with minimal supervision
- Communicate with members of the Americas People Team (APT), EY
personnel and external parties regarding payroll issues as
appropriate -
- Escalates issues as needed
- Assists with special projects as requested -Skills and

impact:To qualify for the role, you must demonstrate:
- Use proper payroll terminology to effectively communicate with
internal/external resources -
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and diplomacy
- Works effectively with others within the department, TSS, and
other EY personnel and/or external parties
- Effectively utilizes Payroll systems and firm standard
technology including, Microsoft Office Products, EY Intranet, Case
Management tools/tracker, Call Center tools, and other TSS related
applications
- Resolves clients' needs and deliver exceptional client
service
- Requires comprehensive understanding of payroll principles and
federal, state and local wage and tax mandates
- Follow thru on commitments and takes responsibility for
resultsIdeally, you'll also have: -
- High school diploma or equivalent payroll experience
- Approximately 3+ years of related payroll work experience in
payroll processing environment
- Familiar with federal/state/local tax set up
- Payroll certifications preferred (i.e., Fundamental payroll
Certification (FPC) and/or CPP - Certified Payroll
Professional)What we look for:
