The role will help SL Talent leaders to understand business strategy, priorities\xc2\xa0and workforce requirements and to provide advice on Talent matters, including: workforce planning, business-led\xc2\xa0change (e.g. M&A, new SSL practices) and capture business needs to ensure that Talent function services/solutions\xc2\xa0deliver business value. The role will work closely with the SL Talent Leaders to support delivery of Talent processes,\xc2\xa0and to optimise Area relationships and connections with Region SL Talent teams in order to: collate business\xc2\xa0needs/issues, share best practices, champion Talent initiatives. \xc2\xa0\n\xc2\xa0\nYour key responsibilities\n\xc2\xa0\n * As directed by SL Talent leaders, work flexibly to support effective business partnering with one or more business\xc2\xa0stakeholder groups (e.g. Area SL Leaders or Sub Service Line/s etc) and/or work to address particular business\xc2\xa0priorities \xc2\xa0\n * Work closely with the SL Talent leaders and business leadership to understand Talent/workforce agenda and\xc2\xa0deliver Talent priorities\xc2\xa0\n * Provide support to the SL Talent Leader or STC to advise on strategic Talent workforce matters, including:\xc2\xa0workforce planning, retention, skills/competency development and business changes (including: integration, M&A,\xc2\xa0new practice creation, workforce growth/reduction). Use data analytics to provide insight on trends, potential\xc2\xa0areas for concern and to inform solutions\xc2\xa0\n * Assist the SL Talent leader and/or STC to understand business needs, assess issues and make recommendations,\xc2\xa0work to ensure issues or opportunities are presented to the Talent functions to ensure services/solutions are\xc2\xa0effective to address SL needs\xc2\xa0\n * Ensure effective delivery of Talent management processes for the SL level (e.g. Talent acquisition, development\xc2\xa0and management) working closely with Talent functions as required\xc2\xa0\n * Collaborate with Talent function colleagues (where required) to support effective delivery of Talent process,\xc2\xa0policies and best practices in the SL (e.g. D&I and Total Reward) to champion and promote diversity and well-being\xc2\xa0\n * Work closely with the SL Talent Leader in an Area to manage effective relationships and communications with\xc2\xa0Region SL Talent teams. \xc2\xa0Facilitate and participate in networks to: communicate SL business and Talent strategy,\xc2\xa0share best practices, identify needs/opportunities for Talent change and to collaborate to resolve problems that\xc2\xa0will enhance Region SL Talent delivery\xc2\xa0\n * As directed by the SL Talent leaders, help facilitate change and support the implementation and successful\xc2\xa0adoption of Talent-led projects and initiatives in the Regions\xc2\xa0\n * As required, help to resolve ad hoc urgent Talent queries pertaining to an assigned stakeholder group or raised by\xc2\xa0Region Talent teams. Where required, prepare presentations and reports as requested by business leadership \xc2\xa0\n * Leverage experience across Talent ecosystem to provide guidance and address talent matters.\xc2\xa0\n\xc2\xa0\nAnalytical/Decision Making Responsibilities: \xc2\xa0\n\xc2\xa0\n * Understand business strategy and performance trends and consider Talent implications\xc2\xa0\n * Leverage internal data and models to consider strategic workforce planning issues globally. Ensure data and\xc2\xa0analytics can be presented effectively to leadership \xc2\xa0\n * Analyse the Talent implications of business changes and ensure Talent requirements are managed effectively\xc2\xa0\n * Analyse business issues/opportunities as they relate to Talent.
