Job Description Job Overview – Medical Director (Family
Medicine): Compensation: $220,000 – $240,000/year Location: New
York, NY Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM TAG
MedStaffing is hiring a Medical Director (Family Medicine) in New
York, NY for our client. This leadership role oversees clinical
operations, mentors Nurse Practitioners and Physicians, and
partners with the Center Director to ensure efficient medical
management. Using eClinicalWorks EMR, you’ll balance patient care
with administrative leadership, driving high-quality, collaborative
family medicine services. Responsibilities as the Medical Director
(Family Medicine): Clinical Leadership: Provide oversight and
guidance to physicians and advanced practice providers, ensuring
high standards of care. Direct Patient Care: Deliver comprehensive
medical evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment for patients in a
family medicine setting. Data Review & Quality Assurance: Analyze
medical histories, lab results, and clinical data with accuracy,
confidentiality, and compliance. Policy & Compliance Oversight:
Collaborate with Human Resources to review, update, and implement
clinical policies, protocols, and best practices. Team
Collaboration & Development: Lead staff meetings, mentor providers,
and coordinate with medical and administrative teams to improve
patient outcomes. Qualifications for the Medical Director (Family
Medicine): Education: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited
medical school is required. Certification: Board Certification in
Family Medicine required. Experience: 2 years of leadership
experience with a proven background in clinical management.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in the eClinicalWorks EMR system and
related healthcare technologies. Skills & Attributes: Excellent
communication, organizational, and leadership abilities, with
respect for diversity and a patient-centered approach to care.
