registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience

be considered. Registered Nurses with Operating Room experience and
a focus on cardiac care are needed to support surgical services in
a dynamic hospital environment. This contract opportunity involves
8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and
requires the ability to take on-call shifts. Location Overview This
position is based in Jersey City, NJ, a vibrant urban center
offering convenient access to cultural attractions, diverse dining,
and public transportation options. Jersey Citys proximity to major

development opportunities. Responsibilities Deliver direct and
indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting for patients
ranging from neonates to older adults. Collaborate closely with
surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR technicians to ensure optimal
patient care and safety. Maintain professional nursing standards
through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of
patient care. Coordinate care across departments to uphold
continuous, high-quality patient flow and unit organization. Adhere
strictly to hospital policies, regulations, and performance
improvement initiatives. Participate in unit meetings, in-services,
and serve as a resource for peers as needed. Respond promptly to
call shifts and be available to come onsite within 30 minutes when
called. Qualifications Current and valid state RN license. Current
BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained thereafter.
Current ACLS and PALS (AHA) certifications obtained within 30 days
of hire and maintained. Minimum of one year perioperative nursing
experience or comparable on-the-job training. Cardiac operating
room experience required. Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
certification preferred. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
preferred. Experience in pre- and post-operative care a plus.
Schedule Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Call coverage required
approximately once per week on weekdays from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
and once every fifth weekend (Saturday and Sunday), with
availability to respond within 30 minutes when called. This
