Job Title: X-Ray Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day and Night Hours per Shift: 8 hours for daytime; 12 hours for nighttime Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: State license required Certifications: ARRT R required Must-Have: - Experience with adult acute care, adult outpatient, bedside/portable procedures, ER, ICU, operating room - Skills in performing various X-ray procedures Description: X-Ray Tech needed for position with a mix of day and evening shifts. The schedule includes 5 days of 8-hour shifts with no rotating shifts. Weekend coverage required every other week. Candidates should be comfortable working with a diverse patient age group including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Responsibilities include performing body imaging procedures to assist in diagnosing medical conditions. Specific skills needed include abdomen and gastrointestinal imaging, chest and thorax imaging, and lower and upper extremity imaging. Experience with mobile/surgical procedures is also necessary, including C-arm and portable imaging. Knowledge of infection prevention, isolation precautions, and radiation safety is crucial. Experience with electronic documentation systems is preferred. Candidates should have a strong understanding of EPIC charting. This position does not accept first-time travelers. Scrubs will be purple. Candidates must be willing to follow all safety and vaccination protocols.
