Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Manahawkin, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Labor and Delivery Nurse for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Manahawkin, NJ. Job Function: /n - Night Shift. /n - 7pm - 7:30am. /n - Applies and interprets external fetal monitors, adjusting care based on fetal heart rate and maternal status. /n /n - Identifies and responds to emergency situations appropriately. /n /n - Administers medications following safety protocols and provider orders. /n /n - Screens and reassesses patients for pain as per clinical guidelines. /n /n - Assists physicians or midwives during deliveries. /n /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a BSN. /n /n - Active RN license in the state of New Jersey. /n /n - 2 years of acute care experience in Labor & Delivery. /n /n - BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association. /n /n - Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred. /n /n /n /n /n Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
