Job DescriptionThe School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology invites applications for the position of a Corporate Outreach Manager (COM). The COM will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Corporate Outreach and Professional Advancement (COPA) office in the School of Business. The COM will execute placement strategies for both undergraduate and graduate programs in the School of Business and primarily focus on student facing activities. The COM will also foster and expand recruiting partnerships with industry. This position is a full time, 6-month fixed term appointment with the opportunity for conversion to a permanent position.Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Host daily office hours to assist students with the career development process
  • Review resumes and provide feedback to students in a timely manner
  • Assist in various event planning activities that may occur on and off campus, such as information sessions, professional headshots, guest speaker engagements and networking events
  • Lead career workshops that support the education and training of students
  • Expand existing recruiting partnerships with industry and identify opportunities for new relationships. This includes, but not limited to, management of corporate meetings, follow up tasks, communications to students, internal departments and external organizations
  • Manage and enhance communications to students about job related events and opportunities
  • Teach 1-2 sections of Spring 2023 Business Career Seminar to undergraduate studentsQualifications / Requirements:
    • Bachelors degree in business, education, counseling, or related field; Masters degree preferred
    • Minimum 3 years of recruitment related experience either in industry or higher education
    • Must possess a strong work ethic, problem solving skills, and attention to detail.
    • Previous experience with teaching, leading workshops or conducting training preferred
    • Strong interpersonal skills with diverse constituents
    • Must have experience with graduate students and international students
    • Must have high attention to detail, customer service, an analytical demeanor and mindset
    • Ability to work on a team and individually
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Google Suite tools and 12Twenty
    • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and changing priorities
    • Must possess maturity, good judgment, business savviness and discretionWorking Conditions:
      • Flexible Work Arrangement with 4-5 days per week in the office.
