Position Title: Senior Manager, Omni Marketing (Target)

Location: Hoboken, NJ / Minneapolis, MN / Atlanta GA

The Digital Marketing Team is an integral part of Newell Brands that focuses on acquiring and retaining consumers online across our distribution channels (Amazon, Retail.com and Direct to Consumer) using media strategy and tactical execution to deliver for our iconic portfolio of brands. We consider the consumer first and their shopping journey online & offline with seamless delivery and execution.

As the Senior Manager, Omni Marketing you will lead and drive best in class Omni activation of Target advertising (e.g., Roundel, Criteo) programs from conception to execution for industry leading brands across multiple business categories. You will partner with brand marketing and sales/planning counterparts to understand long term & short-term goals to translate into effective digital campaigns. You will be responsible for coordinating, planning, executing, tracking, and sharing the results of media programs with key brand stakeholders. In partnership with BU marketing teams, you are tasked with leveling up our engagement with Target Media entities in bringing the combined Pan-Newell voice to the customer.

Specific Responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Develop full funnel onsite/offsite marketing strategy to drive Pan-Newell brands and Omni commerce growth plans, utilizing media tactics such as:
    • Roundel (Display)
    • Criteo - Citrus (Paid Search)
    • Google Search
    • Partners with:
      • Target sales & BU brand teams to build digital marketing activation plans, optimize them and report results
      • In-house creative and production teams to develop best in class digital assets for omni channel media ads
      • Primary media partners (Target Media Groups) to drive growth
      • Analytics to understand sales lift and performance trends to optimize the media mix
      • Internal Planning & Brand teams to determine optimal product mix and omnichannel cohesiveness
      • Tactical partners (Flywheel) in ensuring best in class execution
      • Leverage state of the art analytics tools to understand customer activation and digital campaign performance and distill insights to help drive growth
      • Lead strategic projects leveraging the voice of one Newell in extracting maximum value from media partners.
      • Involvement in preparation for key customer and internal planning meetings with cross-functional teams to help achieve aligned priorities and goals
      • Develop the segmentation of campaigns in alignment with business goals and reporting expectations
      • Collect and analyze data to highlight performance issues and propose solutions
        • Roundel Kiosk Tool
        • Implement budget pacing to track and optimize elements of digital advertising campaigns across a given period
        • Determine basic account structures based on demonstrated best practices
        • Determine improvements to campaign performance by narrowing or broadening targeting, changing campaign goals or inputs, shifting budget, switching creatives / copy, A/B testing platform features, etc.
        • Provide subject matter expertise and lead the development of internal channel best practices/methodologies
          Candidate Qualifications
          • BS/BA or University degree in a related field
          • 5+ years of Digital Marketing and/or Ecommerce work experience
          • Experience working in a consumer-packaged goods (CPG), fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), consumer durables industry, and/or Retail strongly preferred
          • Experience with Roundel & Criteo/Citrus strongly preferred or other similar platforms (e.g., Amazon Advertising, Walmart Connect, etc.)
          • Experience in Programmatic Display management
          • Experience in paid search management
          • Demonstrated integrity and maturity, and a constructive approach to challenges
          • Ability to operate independently given direction, and bring ideas and solutions to issues raised
          • Interpersonally savvy; an ability to effectively work with and connect with all levels of employees across multiple functions and geographies
          • Strong passion for both speed and simplicity
          • Strong written and verbal communication skills
          • Detail-oriented and operationally focused
          • Strong organizational skills & ability to drive change through influence
          • Experience & comfort operating in a highly matrixed environment
          • Takes initiative & brings impeccable follow-up skills
          • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple activities and assignments simultaneously
          • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
