Job Description:

Health Actuarial Manager opening in NY, NJ, or PA. Manage small staff of actuaries in pricing and performing rate filings for Small Group and Individual Health products (eg, HMO, PPO, POS, tiered products, etc.) and/or pricing, valuation, underwriting support, and planning for Stop Loss products; serve as liaison to State Insurance Department actuaries; strategize on new products and risk minimization. Ideal candidate is ASA or FSA with 7+ years of experience in pricing and regulatory filings of Individual and Small Group rates, Employer Stop Loss, or Level Funded products; knowledge of Actuarial Value Calculator model desirable as are SAS programming skills.
