professional, you will work across teams to provide the knowledge,
resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality
service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY's
growth and profitability. -The opportunityIn line with Next Wave,
EY manages key 3rd party IT services within the Supply Chain
Services organization (SCS). SCS scope relevant to this role
includes supplier governance, contract and relationship management
for high value technology and managed services delivered by
Strategic IT Vendors. The key objective of this role within SCS is
to maximize value and prevent value leakage from vendor
relationships and contracts. Value leakage refers to all
circumstances where EY is failing to extract the maximum strategic
or commercial value from a third-party relationship or
contract.This position has global scope and is accountable and
responsible for assigned managed services agreements and vendor
relationships. - -Your key responsibilitiesWorking independently
within an established framework, under minimal guidance, the
successful candidate will be accountable for assigned IT strategic
managed services contract(s) to provide transparency on vendor
performance and contract compliance by ensuring the appropriate
controls and processes are in place to reduce risk, improve vendor
performance, optimize contract value, and ensure partnership
efficiency along with contributing to building out the supplier
management capability within SCS.The Vendor Management Lead will
work across SCS, EY Technology, and assigned managed services
contract(s) to standardize key success metrics,
coordinate/facilitate executive vendor business review and service
review meetings, establish governance processes, manage disputes,
coordinate vendor engineering sessions, provide contract
understanding and guidance, track compliance of key deliverables,
manage the relationship, and other vendor management activities.
-The successful candidate will act as a vendor governance and
contract management subject matter resource and interface with
business and technical stakeholders for the delivery of third-party
technology and managed services. -Strategy
- Work with key EY stakeholders to develop a supplier strategy.

- Collaborate across SCS to develop best practice processes and
collateral.
- Review and communicate industry and market trends and best
practice.Team
- May lead a small team of Vendor Managers. -
- Collaborate with other Vendor Management Leads to establish
best and consistent vendor management practices across SCS.
- Pre-contract Execution Support -
- Develop, maintain and provide the business case framework
- Leverage current contracts and market data to use as a
benchmark (pricing, SLAs, etc.) against which supplier proposals
can be compared and baseline contracts developed
- Support the RFI/RFP/contracting process with focus on
performance standards and governance.Contract Management
- Develop the contract management plan and configure Sirion with
all information and workflows required to manage the contract
- Track supplier compliance to the contract, including contracted
deliverables and obligations -
- Develop a risk and mitigation approach for the contract and
identify, track and report contract risks and issues and
escalations.
- Resolve contract issues
- Provide ongoing contract guidance and interpretation
- Identify and implement cost avoidance/reduction
opportunities
- Establish and run the change order process and governance,
including analyzing requested contract changes, establishing EY
positions on change orders, supporting the negotiation and
agreement of change orders, and integrating change orders into the
overall contract management and Sirion.Performance Management
- Establish governance (reporting and meeting cadence) for
service performance obligations and SLAs
- Define performance obligations and SLAs based on scope changes
(through change orders)
- Validate supplier provided performance and SLA/KPI reports and
identify points of difference between those reports and EY
generated view.
- Report on Supplier achievement of performance obligations and
SLAs/KPIs and provide analysis and insights
- Manage Supplier through delivery of root cause analysis (RCA),
remediation planning and resolution of significant SLA performance
failures
- Recommend SLA/KPI methodology updates and improvements
- Identify, confirm, track and ensure application of service
credits and earn-backs
- Build, maintain and report scorecards and metrics (e.g. spend,
performance, customer satisfaction, compliance, etc.)
- Develop and distribute performance dashboards that include key
scorecards and metrics -
- Manage performance benchmarking relative to market, identify
performance gaps and process improvement opportunities, propose
recommendations and implement performance improvementsFinancial
Management
- Report the business case performance and benefits
realization
- Establish contractual financial obligations and calculations in
Sirion
- Support verification of invoice accuracy
- Identify cost avoidance/reduction/optimization opportunities
and propose recommendations
- Perform financial benchmarking relative to market
- Track and manage Supplier discounts -
- Define, track and report benefits and value realization metrics
provided by the vendor relationship -
- Identify and recommend further benefit and value optimization
opportunitiesRelationship Management
- Develop and run a management plan for the assigned vendor
contract
- Identify and report pain points, improvement opportunities and
relationship status of strategic vendors for assigned
contracts/relationships through interviews, workshops and
performance
- Establish and manage governance for strategic vendor contracts
and relationships
- Identify and manage stakeholders
- Develop regular stakeholder reporting and produce and provide
strategic vendor reports to key stakeholders
- Facilitate and track voice of customer (VOC), NPS and customer
satisfaction survey feedback and report result to stakeholders
