Position Title: -Manager, Digital MarketingReports To: -Manager, Digital MarketingLocation: -Hoboken, NJ or Seattle, WAThe eMarketing Team is an integral part of Newell Brands that focuses on acquiring and retaining consumers online across our distribution channels (Amazon and retail.com) using media strategy and tactical execution to deliver for our iconic portfolio of brands. We consider the consumer first and their shopping journey online & offline with seamless delivery and execution.As the -Manager, eMarketing you will -lead digital activation from conception to execution for the Writing Business Unit. You will be in lock-step with your brand and sales counterparts to understand long term & short term goals to translate into effective digital campaigns across retailers and channels. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and tracking programs at specific key online retailers (Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc.), as well as performance marketing campaigns in the paid search, paid social, and affiliate channels. You develop and manage A&P budgets by retailer & channel and have a clear understanding of how digital spend is moving the business forward.Specific ResponsibilitiesSpecific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Develop full funnel marketing strategy on/off retail platforms to drive overall brand and ecommerce growth plans, including:
    • Amazon Search & Display
    • Retail.com (Walmart, Target, Club, etc.) Search & Display
    • OTT/OLV
    • Off platform Paid Search/Shopping, Paid Social
    • Partner with -:
      • Amazon and retail.com Sales teams to build eCommerce activation plans
      • In-house Creative and Production teams to develop best in class digital assets
      • Primary media partners (Amazon, Walmart Connect, Roundel) to drive growth
      • Analytics to understand sales lift and performance trends to optimize the media mix
      • Internal Planning & Brand teams to determine optimal product mix and omnichannel cohesiveness -
      • Leverage state of the art analytics tools to understand customer activation and digital campaign performance and distill insights to help drive growth
      • Lead strategic projects around content development, catalogue improvement, paid digital media program recap and comparison, marketing website management
      • Involvement in preparation for key customer and internal planning meetings with cross-functional teams to help achieve aligned priorities and goals
      • Develops the segmentation of campaigns in alignment with business goals and reporting expectations -
      • Collects and analyzes data to highlight performance issues and proposes solutions
      • Implements budget pacing to track and optimize elements of digital advertising campaigns across a given time period
      • Determines basic account structures with campaigns, ad groups / ad sets, keywords and creatives
      • Determines improvements to campaign performance by narrowing or broadening targeting, changing campaign goals or inputs, shifting budget, switching creatives / copy, A/B testing platform features, etc.The CandidateQualifications:
        • BS/BA or University degree in a related field
        • 3-4 years -of digital marketing and/or Ecommerce work experience
        • Experience with Amazon Advertising (AMS bid management strongly preferred) or other similar platform (e.g. Google adwords)
        • Experience in Programmatic Display management
        • Demonstrated integrity and maturity, and a constructive approach to challenges.
        • Ability to operate independently given direction, and bring ideas and solutions to issues raised
        • Strong passion for both speed and simplicity
        • Strong written and verbal communication skills
        • Interpersonally savvy; an ability to effectively work with and connect with all levels of -employees across multiple functions and geographies
        • Detail-oriented and operationally-focused
        • Strong organizing skills
        • Takes initiative & brings impeccable follow-up skills
        • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
        • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple activities and assignments simultaneously
        • Experience working in a consumer packaged goods (CPG), fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), consumer durables industry, and/or Retail strongly preferred -
