Job Description:
We are looking for an exceptional Manager-level candidate with a
background in adult learning and healthcare to manage training
projects as part of a premiere healthcare research and
commercialization consultancy.
This is a great opportunity to lead an existing team focused on
adult education and training of Pharma reps and sales leadership on
the business of healthcare, clinical/product training, and selling
skills-based training. The number of training projects we do (and
their revenue) is rapidly growing, and the existing team already
includes junior trainers/content developers, researchers,
salespeople, and graphic designers, as well as others in our sister
agencies such as MDs, AR and interactive learning developers, and
so on.
As a Manager at Magnolia, you will have the unique opportunity to
shape how our clients view their businesses and the direction they
take. In addition, through our strong mentorship culture, you will
grow and develop your consulting skills.
Project assignments will vary depending on project volume and skill
set match, and we have numerous ongoing projects outside of
training as well, in our other core areas of Market Research,
Strategy, and Analytics. As a result, we also seek candidates who
are naturally curious, strategically insightful, and are passionate
about answering complex business questions, and although it's not a
requirement, experience in Market Research and Consulting would be
a plus.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Design, manage, and implement Training projects
As time allows, design, manage, and implement Market Research and
Strategic Consulting projects
Depending on incoming level and management experience, oversee a
small team of Associates & Senior Associates, working closely with
internal resources, partner agencies, and external vendors
Lead the team in translating key business needs into a viable
training plan
Develop training tools and execute all aspects of training,
spanning self-directed online modules, seminars, role playing
exercises and other experiential learning formats
Prepare for and lead internal and client-facing work sessions and
brainstorming sessions, including project kickoffs, stakeholder
interviews, status/check-in meetings, and debrief sessions
Conduct research from secondary and primary sources (e.g. KOL
interviews), write training materials, organize live training
events,
Design, build, and deliver error-free final training products in
PowerPoint presentations and other formats as needed
Participate in business development activities, such as
capabilities presentations and initial client meetings to define
projects and scope out projects. Note that there is no lead
generation or sales minimum at the Manager level.
Develop best practices for visual and verbal communication of
training insights to clients
Support building and maintaining relationships with clients as a
day-to-day project manager and strategic thought partner
Desired Skills and Experience
Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in relevant field
5+ years experience with adult learning and curriculum development
in a Healthcare field
Knowledge of "the business of" healthcare, such as market access
and payers, the roles of key Healthcare stakeholders, the journey
of a script, and so on are strongly preferred
Experience in oncology strongly preferred
The ideal candidate would have field force / sales training
experience, as well as knowledge of Pharma field sales force
structure / management, incentives, and launch meetings
Knowledge of Veeva, Articulate, and other common systems for
housing and delivering training modules
Excellent qualitative and/or quantitative analytical skills
Superior written and oral communication skills, with a focus on
visualization of complex information and communication of insights
and strategy to executive-level audiences
High computer literacy, sense of informational communication and
aesthetics in PowerPoint, and strong attention to detail must be
demonstrated prior to hire. Samples requested.

teams
