public and private events and cruises. We own and manage the
portfolio of brands, including TopView Sightseeing, Event Cruises
NYC, Liberty Cruise, Bike Rental Central Park, and Attraction Pass.

the fleet of vessels. The candidate would play a pivotal role in
translating our vision into reality. Liberty Cruise is a

looking for an experienced Senior Director of Marine Operations to
build a highly efficient, revenue-oriented, and optimized
department while achieving a top level of customer satisfaction.
Working alongside marketing, sales, and operations executives, the
candidate will identify and develop new revenue growth
opportunities. THE POSITION The Senior Director of Marine
Operations oversees and manages all phases of facility and vessels
operations for the organization, including safe and punctual
execution of departures schedule, new project construction
oversight, engineering team management, resource management, marina
management, and strategic planning, and vessel fleet maintenance.
The Senior Director of Marine Operations must possess specialized
technical and operational knowledge while being responsible for
every aspect of the operations. The Director must appreciate and
support the organization's mission and vision while challenging the
organization to improve its operating effectiveness and efficiency.
The right candidate must identify and bring forth new ideas and
opportunities and encourage change. Comply with USCG requirements
to successfully pass top-side and dry dock inspections. Hold the
fleets condition both mechanically and cosmetically to the highest
standards. Contribute to the company's safety procedures and
training materials. Foster a culture of safety. Assemble a capable
team of Captains and Deckhands to fulfill the scheduled departures
while providing a great customer experience. Contribute to the
departments manuals and SOPs to provide a well-planned and
standardized experience to customers. Using technology, organize a
project's workflow, ensure that employees understand their duties
or delegated tasks, and monitor their productivity. Execute a
training routine for all positions to ensure that employees are
adequately trained for their specific roles and take on new skills
and responsibilities. Foster a culture of growth and learning.
Source and maintain Maintenance and Inventory software. Ensure that
the dock facility is in clean and safe working conditions.
Periodically review operations processes to implement improvements
in flow and efficiency. Develop, implement, and continuously
improve performance evaluation programs by setting goals, KPIs,
performance-based initiatives, etc. Analyze and optimize department
costs. Provide other departments with the operational costs of
running different types of services. Additional responsibilities as
needed. REQUIREMENTS Significant experience in the operation of
vessels. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to
prioritize effectively, work well under pressure, and adhere to
time-sensitive deadlines. Significant knowledge of electrical,
mechanical, and HVAC systems, construction techniques, and trades,
including plumbing, electrical, woodworking, corrosion control,
paints, coatings, etc. Proven leadership skills with the ability to
lead a department in achieving operational and organizational
goals. Strong working knowledge of supervisory principles and
practices, with the ability to delegate effectively, and motivate
and inspire staff while fostering a service and safety culture.
Proven ability to manage performance, provide feedback, and mentor
staff. Strong presentation, oral, and written communication skills
to articulate and present complex issues. Strong Computer Skills,
including Google Docs. Ability to work flexible and extended hours
as needed Must have a reliable smartphone Must have availability to
work weekends and holidays QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in one
of the following: Engineering, Vessel Operations, Marine Science,
Business, Hospitality, Management, Construction, Facilities, or
related field OR an equivalent combination of education and
experience directly related to the position Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year 401(k) Health insurance

Experience: Significant experience in the operation of vessels: 5
