The Digital Technology Team is responsible for the development and support of Newell Brands Marketing and eCommerce websites globally, such as YankeeCandle.com, GracoBaby.com, Sharpie.com, Dymo.com, Rubbermaid.com, and many others. We are looking for an experienced Senior UX Manager of Digital Technology to lead us into the next generation of digital experiences.. Responsibilities. Owns the entire UX process; from creating products and valuable experiences, including UX, UI. Owns and advocates for design systems and an architectural and systematic approach to UX and product design. Identify, define, and problem solve, while also driving the next generation innovative UX solutions for our brands. Establish a UX framework for managing incoming UX projects and ensure the UX team is properly resourced. Partner with wide array of cross-functional partners to leverage data analytics, customer needs/trends, and competitive insights to articulate a UX vision and opportunities. Leads the coordination and collaboration with product teams, business teams and other internal stakeholders to drive a cohesive consumer experience. Responsible for ensuring deadlines are met and ability to motivate team to work efficiently. Manage, coach and develop the talent to be a high performing team. Qualifications. Expert in industry-standard design tools including Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, MS Office as well as workflow and asset management tools including Abstract, Zeplin and Jira. 7+ years of experience in the UX space, with experience in role(s) as a team lead, UX manager or similar senior role. Solid understanding of the technical aspects of the designs the team is creating and what is involved in integrating those technical components on websites, SEO, emails and omnichannel experiences (BOPIS, SFS, Store locator, etc.). Demonstrated experience managing complex enterprise wide programs with multiple stakeholders; ability to overcome obstacles to complete projects and deliver results. Strong visual communication skills to effectively integrate features and design plans. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills as you are expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Effective management, communication and tracking of project deliverables against timelines. Experience managing processes and workflows across a multidisciplinary team, including product designers, motion designers, production, eDesign, UX researchers and project managers. A strong portfolio showcasing experience working on consumer facing products, demonstrating design thinking methodologies, spanning the full product development process, from discovery to deployment. Experience collaborating and working within large design teams (20+ team members). Ability to manage work autonomously, be organized and follow through/execute successfully. Thought leader for insights and best practices within the UX/UI space.
