Regional Sales Manager Company Information Since 1988, our client provides specified consumable products to the leading organizations in Life Sciences, Advanced Material, and Academia. The Regional Sales Manager will use their technical selling skills to understand their prospective customer---s business needs, and to provide solutions that help the customers achieve their goals by using our client's products. Consistently maintain and grow our market share through outbound sales calls to build a solid pipeline of prospective new end users and implement consultative selling techniques to identify the end users that are most likely to benefit from changing to our client's products. Specific Job Responsibilities Sales is responsible for all aspects of the sales process to include sales planning, sales calls, closing new opportunities, and sales reporting for all designated prospects. Sales is responsible for maintaining and expanding designated current customer sales/relationships. Primary Routine Work 1. Maintain CRM-Microsoft Dynamics 365 with current, relevant client information 2. Manage Client Tiers and Product Penetration Matrix 3. Actively Manage the Sales Territory -- Responsible for distribution sales and direct end user calls 4. Responsible for closing business to achieve annual budget goals 5. Responsible for Customer and Market Analysis of the following: -- Individual Client Business Plans ---to focus on: -- Relationship Management -- Build, Maintain, Erode -- Client Buying Patterns -- Account Penetration -- Managing the Impasse Zone--- Sales cycle -- Total Customer Buying Center/ Multiple touch points -- Balanced Portfolio of Customer Base-Distribution/Direct End User -- Balance Portfolio of Products -- Customization/New Product Development -- Client Education, Specification and Validation Qualifications --- Key organizational business skills, knowledge and experience required to do the job. Key Organizational Skills --- Ability to successfully interact with the various internal operating departments and manage the interdependencies with sales. -- Business Skills --- Account Management, Self-Motivation, Business Development, Product Knowledge, Differentiation, Closing, Account Expansion, Presentation Skills, Strategic Planning and Competitive Analysis, Microsoft Suite software. -- Soft Skills --- Selling, Communication, Product Positioning, Collaboration, Adaptability -- Knowledge --- Product specifications, Testing standards, Industry Knowledge and trends, best practices, customer specific needs Critical Internal Relationships (Functions that this role interacts with) -- Supply Chain -- Sales Operations Department -- Marketing -- E-Commerce -- Quality -- Finance -- New Product Development --- (Visionary-Thought Leader) Education: -- BA/BS in Business Management or related field preferred. Job Requirements:

  • Assign sales territory to sales representatives
  • Define sales strategy including sales channel
  • Manage sales/market conditions within assigned sales territory
  • Develop sales strategies with direct sales reports
  • Manage a sales territory to achieve sales goals
  • Deploy sales and customer specific sales strategies
  • Establishing sales goals and develop sales plans
  • Preparing periodic sales reports showing sales volume and potential sales
  • Provide sales leadership to dealer sales teams
  • Conduct weekly sales meetings with sales staff
  • Ensure sales staff make effective sales calls
  • Increase sales for mutual based sales targets
  • Assist with closing sales for sales associates
  • Intensify sales via training on sales methods
  • Manage the sales activity of assigned sales territory
  • Documenting sales meetings and sales operations processes
  • Leading the sales team to achieve sales targets
  • Develop a sales operations strategy that boost sales productivity (sales dollars per sales manager) by 5%
  • Hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume and potential sales
