Position Title: Manager, eCommerce QA Automation EngineerLocation: Hoboken, NJReports To: Sr. Manager, QA, Digital Technology, eCommerce Newell Brands (NYSE: NWL) is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of well-known brands. The QA Automation Manager will act as a liaison between dev and QA, working with them to develop and review automated solutions, delivering high quality tests and code contributions. This role will report to the Senior Manager of QA.
Key Responsibilities:

• Interacting with PMO Team, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and developers for gathering requirements and implementing testing.
• Ability to automate existing test cases using BDD and Selenium
• Lead and champion best practices and uphold a culture that is committed to quality, test driven development and repeatable processes through automation and infrastructure as code
• Develop and enforce a standard process for testing all releases that includes automation into the software build, test, and release process
• Working experience in developing test scenarios and test scripts using industry standard design techniques.
• Improve or maintain the formal QA processes, procedures, and best practices to ensure efficient, effective testing for both enhancement and regression testing
• Design and create test strategies - creating test plans and test cases for individual product releases, with an eye to validating business requirements, operational needs and real-world consumer product usage
• Supporting and enhancing the QA methodologies to ensure delivery of predictable, high-quality product releases.
• Defines quality metrics, gathers and analyzes data and implements process improvements based on analysis results.
• Define testing / QA strategy, quality gates, and coordinate to ensure consistent / appropriate testing by project QA team members, cross-functional SIT and UAT testing teams
• Development & review of Integration, regression test plans to perform measures and certify the product quality
• Working in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum engineering environment delivering incremental software with high quality
• Publish test execution, defect summary, and daily/weekly status report to all the stakeholders
• Must possess critical thinking skills in addition to good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proven track record demonstrating the ability to attract, hire, empower and develop the best QA engineers
• Experience with JIRA, Slack, TestRails, or similar test case management tools.
• Hands-on testing in various platforms such as custom web applications, Salesforce applications, and DeckCommerce. Qualifications: ---
  • 5+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer, Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), Software Developer, or similar Automation role
  • eCommerce experience is strongly preferred.
  • Highly organized, creative, motivated, and passionate about achieving results
  • Good experience in Java with Object Oriented Programming concepts skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and other Commerce platforms such as WebSphere Commerce (WCS), ATG or similar.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills including the ability to address a wide range of audiences.
  • Hands-on experience in Selenium Grid, JIRA, Jenkins and Cucumber/Gherkin.
  • Familiarity with QA tools and bug tracking/ticketing systems.
  • Familiarity with Appium, XCode for Mac, Genymotion, mobile testing a plus
  • Familiarity with APIs, AWS a plus.
