Paraprofessional role available to support students with severe behavioral needs within a structured school environment in Bensalem, PA. This contract position offers an opportunity to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 3:30 PM, following a school calendar with an expected end date of June 12, 2026. Mandatory orientation sessions occur every other week from 8:30 AM 4:30 PM. Location: Bensalem, PA (within 35 minutes of Levittown, PA) Responsibilities: Support grades K8 students with high-intensity severe needs in a behavioral classroom setting Implement ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) interventions and safety protocols Assist students exhibiting aggressive or self-injurious behaviors and other intensive safety needs Collaborate with teachers and behavioral specialists to maintain a positive and safe learning environment Participate in mandatory orientation and ongoing training requirements Qualifications: Minimum 1 year experience as an ABA paraprofessional supporting students with autism and severe behavioral needs Comfortable working in a highly structured behavioral environment with safety interventions Must meet one of the following credential requirements: 48 college credits Associate degree or higher Child Development Associate (CDA) credential Credential of Competency If not currently credentialed, must complete a 7-module paraprofessional training during onboarding and submit credential within 60 days Reside within a 35-minute commute of Levittown, PA Additional Requirements: Provide a resume highlighting ABA skills Submit one supervisor reference from a previous paraprofessional role (two references needed during final process) Confirm availability, comfort with high-intensity behaviors, and commitment to attendance Understand Pennsylvania DOE credential timeline This assignment requires completion of clearances and client HR approval before placement is finalized.
