About the role: CHANEL, a leader in the luxury goods industry, seeks an Account & Education Executive to support and develop Multi Brand Retail sales through education and motivation of store sales staff. The Account & Education Executive is responsible for executing of CHANEL business objectives, promotional programming, upholding brand image, and talent development at the store level.The ideal candidate has a passion for Fragrance and Beauty. Has worked within a Multi Brand Retail and/or Retail environment and has experience managing a significant sales volume. Must have strong communication, coaching, and execution skills. What impact you can create at CHANEL: Business Execution: Responsible for executing the business strategies to achieve the Companies business objectives Regularly monitor retail sales and hold Counter team accountable to meeting established retails sales objectivesEstablish a cadence of in store time with both Counter teams and Store leadership to ensure alignment to CHANEL business objectives, sales plans, product launches, and special eventsPartner closely with Counter Manager to develop a client strategy. Focus on attaining new clients and developing a loyal client baseFoster strong relationships with Retail leadership in order to ensure CHANEL is positioned well within each respective beauty department from a space and location and talent perspectiveMaintain a pulse on market dynamics and trends in order to capitalize on opportunities and ensure achievement of Company objectivesPlan, communicate, and execute all in-store events in partnership with Regional Director, Education, and other relevant corporate partnersResponsible for managing a budget and adhering to respective Company policies and procedures (i.e., RSS, T&E, Counter Supplies, etc) Talent Development: Recruit, and develop Counter teams, with a strong focus on succession planningProvide orientation training/onboarding for all new hires using company approved platforms and materialsLeverage fluency in product, service and artistry skills to coach and support Counter Managers and BA'sModel behavior with side-by-side coaching on service ritual, application techniques and all facets of the clientele system, specific to each retailerIdentify learning opportunities and execute focused development plansConduct on-going in-store Education in the region focusing on elevated service, product knowledge, and CHANEL-specific application techniques with clear benchmark improvementChampion the use of all education tools, e.g., INSIDE BEAUTY, during seminars (in store or virtual)Collaborate with Area Education Director to foster adult learning in the classroom, online and at Point of Sale Brand Image & Experience: Ensure that Brand Image is being upheld within respective territory by leveraging any and all available tools and proactively providing feedback/training to your Counter teamsResponsible for ensuring all merchandising guidelines and visual merchandising elements are properly executed at all storesCommunicate timely and effectively any counter issues or concerns to Corporate to address any deficienciesKeep image as top priority and adhering to all visual standards You are energized by: The history and heritage of The House of CHANELPeople leadership and developmentFostering a meaningful client experience centered around inclusion and connectionBuilding collaborative partnerships and relationshipsBeing comfortable in the middle of complexity and ambiguityMulti-tasking within projects in a dynamic, fast paced environmentCreativity and innovation by testing, learning, and taking new risk What you will bring to the team: Ability to thrive in a team environment and work collaborativelyUnderstanding of, and passion for client experienceExcellent communication skillsForeign language skills are preferred but not requiredPassion for the House of CHANEL, its history, product offerings, and commitment to social and cultural initiativesCuriosity and desire to learn and grow professionally within the world of CHANELQualitative client connectionsProven ability to recruitStrong planning and organizational skillsStrong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Suite Position Logistics: 5+ years of relevant experienceBachelor's Degree preferred Home office set up, may require occasional travel and/or visits to corporate offices/points of salesTravel requirement of approx. 50%-75%Ability to lift at minimum 40 pounds Requires in-store presence to develop and coach teams, ensure boutique image and operational standards are upheld and support and create an elevated client experience. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay will be offered for this position.
