As a Floor Installer, you will be assessing and completing necessary repairs and full flooring installs throughout the property. You will need to accurately measure each room, determining the amount of flooring needed for the space, and using best practices to lay each type of flooring we use LVP, VCT, and Ceramic. Responsibilities Measure rooms and spaces to determine the amount of flooring needed to complete the project Demolition of existing flooring and any making repairs necessary Work safely and cleanly on the job site, following best practices from both the company and the flooring manufacturer Lay multiple types of flooring, VCT, LVP, ceramic, and more Existing flooring removal and/or carpet removal Subfloor replacement/repairs Light carpentry Qualifications The ability to regularly lift and move heavy objects, and work on your hands and knees Interest in learning new techniques and the ability to adapt to different environments Ability to work efficiently and independently Productivity is closely monitored as we work with strict deadlines. We need someone who is a self-starter and can stay on task without continual oversight. Additional responsibilities can include: work orders, general building maintenance, carpet removal, unit cleanouts, working in crawlspaces or on a ladder, snow removal, and assisting with other jobs around the property as needed. You must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must have a valid driver's license. This is non-negotiable. Location: 207 Lake Drive, Newburgh, NY.
