Job Description:
Prevention Links is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief
Operating Officer (COO) to oversee our organization's ongoing
operations and procedures. As a core member of the senior
management team, the COO will be responsible for maintaining and
driving operational excellence within our nonprofit, which focuses
on substance abuse prevention and fostering healthy, drug-free
communities. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the
COO will maintain control of diverse organizational operations,
ensuring the team is harmoniously working towards our mission of
empowering individuals and guiding communities towards a bright,
drug-free future. Provide day-to-day leadership and management that
mirrors the mission and core values of the organization. Design and
implement business operations strategies, plans, and procedures.
Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth, and establish
policies that promote company culture and vision. Lead employees to
encourage maximum performance and dedication. Evaluate performance
by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics. Write and submit
reports to the CEO on all matters of importance. Participate in
expansion activities and manage relationships with
partners/vendors. Oversee daily operations of the company and the
work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.). Lead the
drive to promote the organization's culture, reinforcing its values
within the workplace. Proven leadership and organizational
management skills. Competency in strategic planning and business
development. Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills. Aptitude in
decision-making and problem-solving. Proficient in data analysis
and performance metrics. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Project Management Professional (PMP)
certification preferred. Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) is
advantageous.
