Summary: HousingPlus is hiring a Program Compliance Specialist to
join our growing company. The Program Compliance Specialist takes
the lead in the preparation of the monthly MOCJ monthly report. The
Program Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring
compliance through the monitoring and evaluation of data collection
processes. This role conducts routine file reviews and audits to
verify accuracy, adherence to policies and compliance with MOCJ
reporting obligations. The Specialist tracks and ensures completion
of report corrective action plans. In addition, the Specialist
serves as a thought partner to program leadership offering
recommendations for continuous improvement strategies that
strengthen data quality, enhance reporting accuracy and improve
program outcomes. Competencies/ Skills: Exceptional Communication
Skills: The ability to convey information clearly and persuasively,
both in writing and verbally, is essential. Strong attention to
detail and accuracy in data management. Ability to interpret and
apply compliance standards, policies and regulations. Collaboration
and teamwork across multiple program areas. Organizational skills:
Analytical thinking and problem solving. Managing the logistical
aspects of filling the 159 units requires strong organizational
capabilities to track candidates, maintain data and ensure
compliance with contractual agreements. Technical Proficiency :
Managing client data, report files, and communication efficiently
requires the right tools. The Program Compliance Specialist will
use AWARDS, Excel, and other data entry software and communication
platforms to keep information organized and accessible. Automated
data entry and record management help the team focus on high-value
tasks instead of fixing mistakes. Remote workforce integrity:
Ensuring integrity in a remote workforce relies on components that
build trust, establish clear expectations, and prioritize security.
Upholding ethical standards, transparency, and accountability
within a decentralized work environment through clear expectations,
open communication, and consistent leadership check ins. Time
Management: The Program Compliance Specialist will handle multiple
inquiries, paperwork, and follow-ups throughout the day. Without
strong time management, the referral process slows down,
subcontractors, referring partners, and clients get frustrated, and
the Justice Works staff will struggle. Duties/Responsibilities:
Monthly Reporting: Coordinate the preparation of the monthly MOCJ
report, gather information from providers and program staff. Use
AWARDS to cross-check all data for accuracy and completeness and
submit the draft report to Senior Program Director for review and
finalization Quality Checks: Review AWARDS regularly to confirm
that service plans are started within 7 days of admissions, income
documents are uploaded monthly, incidents are reported within 24
hours, and clients are enrolled in the CAPS system within 7 days of
admission. Track client retention at 45,90 and 180 days, and
monitor housing placement. Data Monitoring: Use AWARDS to cross
reference all reporting data, flag errors, missing information or
inconsistencies and track providers' follow-up corrections. Review
the LL79 weekly report prepared by the Outreach Intake Coordinator
to confirm accuracy before submission to MOCJ. Performs other
duties as assigned by the Senior Program Director. Required
Skills/Abilities: Experience working with justice impacted
population ,preferably working with women experiencing homelessness
histories, behavioral health needs and/or criminal legal history.
Knowledge of program evaluation, corrective action planning and
compliance monitoring, experience monitoring data collection
systems and reporting processes. Excellent written and verbal
communication skills with demonstrated ability to coordinate intake
referral process, resolve related problems and overcome barriers to
successful completion of Justice Works contractual goals. Competent
technology and management skills including proficiency with using
Microsoft Office, AWARDS and client based data systems. Proficiency
with data management systems. Knowledge of and the ability to
adhere to professional code of ethics and conduct. Education and
Experience: Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree Preferred in the
field of social services, data information management ,public
administration or related field High School Diploma with five years
of experience in program compliance, quality assurance or related
field 3 years experience in social services and /or nonprofit
services with particular value placed on New York City based
