Job Description:
Fidelity Investments, a global leader in financial services, is
seeking a Senior Quantitative Developer to join our Boston-based IT
& Data Management team. This role requires a deep understanding of
quantitative analysis and software development to support asset
management strategies and enhance our data-driven financial
solutions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to
develop and implement models that improve decision-making and
investment processes. Develop, test, and deploy quantitative models
for asset allocation, risk management, and portfolio construction.
Collaborate with financial analysts and data scientists to
integrate quantitative methods into investment processes. Enhance
existing analytical software and tools to improve functionality and
efficiency. Conduct back-testing, scenario analysis, and
performance measurement. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry
developments in quantitative finance and apply innovative
solutions. Proficiency with programming languages such as Python,
R, or C++ Strong background in statistical modeling and machine
learning Experience with financial modeling and analysis Excellent
problem-solving and analytical abilities Effective communication
and collaboration skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k CFA or similar certification
preferred Certification in Python or R programming advantageous
