My client is a retail organization; they are seeking a Accounting Specialist to join their team; this is a role that would be responsible for payable & receivables across North America. This is a hybrid opportunity, that will convert temp to hire. • Collaborate with teams to ensure prompt and precise invoicing, addressing any customer inquiries and coordinating with business partners.
• Manage receipt and banking of checks, as well as initiating credit card transactions for customer payments.
• Handle receipt, review, and processing of invoices from suppliers, verifying accuracy, coding, and authorization.
• Maintain supplier master data and resolve any discrepancies through communication.
• Prepare and execute electronic payments, aid in month-end closing activities including accounts payable reconciliations and accruals.
• Provide support for cash allocation and assist in the audit process.Profile
  • Completed Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related
  • Experience handling payable and receivables at a global organization
  • Proficiency in ERP software; netsuite a plus
  • Strong MS Excel skill-set [vlookup, pivot table, SUM-IF]
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment Job Offer
