The Controllers Transformation organization is looking for a dynamic individual to help shape the future of the Finance organization. As part of Citi Finances transformation program, Controllers Transformation team is charged with leading Finances efforts to provide accurate information of the highest quality to our customers, shareholders, and regulators. The scope of the transformation is those sets of activities that begin with defining and establishing appropriate data standards and ensuring readiness for consumers, standardizing the accounting and processing of transactions to financial systems, implementing a comprehensive set of integrated financial closing processes, which then culminates with instituting common and optimized financial / regulatory reporting processes.The Financials Lead Analyst is responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of the Controller Transformation financials in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to contribute to directional strategy as well as utilize in-depth specialized knowledge to provide counsel on the evaluation of financial results and outlook.Responsibilities ? Create financial reports and meet with finance team to clearly summarize financial trends and provide insight to senior management? Advise on directional strategy and provide guidance on significant business/product decisions? Execute analysis of actuals, of forecasts, strategic and operating plans, and create monthly outlooks in partnership with the Controller Transformation seniors reflective of the execution of their transformation objectives? Prepare analytics in support of reviews with the Controller Transformation seniors of the financials aligned to the execution of transformation priorities.? Prepare presentations and analysis for the team and in support of the Controller Transformation lead.? Able to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.? Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.? Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.? Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications ? 6-10 years of relevant experience Experience in preparing reports and financial analysis for actuals, monthly forecasts, strategic multi-year forecasts, and annual budgets? Effective verbal and written communication skills? Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge in other applications such as PowerBI? Demonstrated presentation skills? Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationEducation? Bachelors degree/University degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience? Masters degree an advantageWe are currently working on a hybrid schedule consisting of 2-3 days in office and the remainder remote (specific details depend on location and business group).
